Berlin, January 15th 2024 – Enpal, Germany’s leading provider of renewable energy solutions, today announced its preliminary business figures for 2023. The energy company once again achieved a record turnover of around €900 million in 2023, compared to €415 million in 2022. This represents a growth of around 117%, more than doubling. At the same time, Enpal remains permanently profitable. The growth was purely organic, with no acquisitions, and related exclusively to the German market.
With more than 30,000 new customers, Enpal consolidated its position as the market leader for private solar energy systems in Germany. The company also successfully entered the heating market with over 1,000 new heat pump installations. Enpal also installed more than 20,000 intelligent electricity meters, known as smart meters.

Enpal is one of the few companies in Germany to offer the solar system as a complete solution with storage, wallbox, heat pump, smart meter and intelligent energy manager from a single source as a one-stop shop for renewable energy for the home. At the heart of the system is the company’s award-winning intelligent energy manager, which networks the components and integrates them into the grid. This creates additional income, for example through intelligent solar charging for electric cars or optimisation of the electricity storage system. From 2023, Enpal will offer heat pumps from Bosch and Daikin.
