Ralf Puschmann

The ambitious e-mobility firm JayKay, in Kressbronn am Bodensee, is strengthening its team. Effective immediately, Ralf Puschmann will fully support the founding trio Isabell Armbruster-Kuhlmann, Benedict Johannes Kuhlmann, and Daniel Jäger as new CEO. Together with the veteran manager JayKay looks to grow further and to develop innovative, high-quality electric mobility solutions with revolutionary technology.

JayKay is focused on the development and production of fully-integrated electric micro-drives. The current product portfolio comprises the E-Fin drive for standup paddle boards as well as an electric drive for longboard axles. The continually growing demand for electrically driven means of transportation provides JayKay GmbH a wide range of exciting opportunities to enrich the sports and active lifestyles world with their ingeniously engineered micro-drives for a variety of practical applications.

Ralf Puschmann is convinced of this. The versatile manager can look back on over 30 years of experience in the sport and lifestyle channels. Most recently, the 51-year-old and a business partner led The Sport Solutions, a boutique business consultancy focusing on establishing sales and distribution networks in Europe for international businesses. Prior to that, he was director of the European organization of HICKIES, a New York City based start-up offering an innovative, elastic shoelace concept. The HICKIES brand has since become solidly established in the Bodensee region. The new JayKay CEO began his career at PUMA SE in Herzogenaurach, going on to gain extensive experience in product marketing, merchandising, and sales through his leadership roles.

Now he is looking to apply his expansive know-how to JayKay’s continued growth. “I’m really looking forward to this responsibility and challenge. I’m confident that our innovative products will be equally as exciting for our consumers as for the industry overall,” enthuses Puschmann. Today, the e-mobility firm occupies a leadership position in the e-fin product segment. In the coming year, JayKay would like to further build on this position while continuing development of existing products and adding new ones to their portfolio.
